How to check any Tesla referral offer yourself in the Internet Archive

By the TeslaPromoCodes.com desk · published October 7, 2026

Short answer

Open the Archive's list of captures for a store's referral pages, pick a recent one, and read the line under each model. Every figure in our matrix was read this way, and you can repeat it for any store in a few minutes.

Or skip the homework: your store's link

Tesla's page, captured October 4, 2026

A referral link: Tesla applies its benefit when you order through it, and the owner of this site may earn Tesla credits. Independent — not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. How this works

Why not just open tesla.com?

You can, and before you order you should: the page your own referral link opens is the final word. But Tesla's referral page only exists behind someone's personal link, and it shows today's figure only. The Archive shows what Tesla showed on a given date, in any store, without anyone's link — which is how you settle "who is right" when two websites disagree.

Five steps

  1. Open the capture list for the store. Type web.archive.org/web/*/tesla.com/en_ie/referral/* into your browser, replacing en_ie with the store code from the matrix (the US store has no code: tesla.com/referral/*).
  2. Pick a recent capture. Sort or scan by date; each row is one owner's referral page as it looked that day.
  3. Read the line under each model. For example, the Irish page on July 12, 2026 read "1,000 Free Supercharging Kilometers" under both Model Y and Model 3. If the page looks blank in the Archive's player, add id_ after the date in the address (/web/20260712002708id_/…) to see the raw page Tesla sent, then search it for "supercharging", "cash" or "trials".
  4. Check the headline. "Order with [name]'s Referral" is a normal page. "[name]'s Referral Limit Has Been Reached" means that owner had used their 10 referrals for the year and the page shows no benefit — pick another capture.
  5. Read the rules for the same store. web.archive.org/web/*/tesla.com/en_ie/support/refer-and-earn lists that store's Refer and Earn page, with its own "Effective … Updated …" date.

Three traps

  • Old captures. A 2024 capture is a 2024 offer. Always note the date you read.
  • The wrong store. en_gb is not en_ie; miles are not kilometres. Compare like with like.
  • Ordering from an archived page. Don't. It carries a stranger's code, possibly capped, and the Archive's copy is not a live store.

What we do differently from a quick check

We read several recent captures per store, skip any that show a capped owner, cross-check the visible line against the page's own data, and log every change. The full method.
