How we verify each Tesla referral offer
Tesla publishes its referral benefit only on its own referral pages, one per store, and those pages refuse automated readers. So we do not read Tesla directly and we do not copy other sites. We read the copies the Internet Archive made of Tesla's own pages, and print the capture date beside every figure.
What Tesla gives in your store
US United States: 3 months of FSD (Supervised) on Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck.
We couldn't detect your country, so this shows the United States store. Every store is in the matrix.
We found no Tesla referral storefront for your country, so the link opens Tesla's US referral page. See countries without a referral program.
Tesla runs a referral page for your country, but this site's link routing does not include that store yet, so the link opens Tesla's US referral page. Check the store shown on Tesla's page before you configure.
A referral link: Tesla applies its benefit when you order through it, and the owner of this site may earn Tesla credits. Independent — not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. How this works
The four steps behind every cell
- Find captures. For each store path (for example
tesla.com/en_ie/referral/) we list every archived referral page since January 2025 using the Archive's public index. - Read the raw page. We load the newest captures in raw mode — the HTML exactly as Tesla's server sent it, with no replay script. Tesla's referral page embeds its product data: per model, a Supercharging distance, an FSD trial in months, or a cash amount with its currency.
- Cross-check what was visible. The headline under each model card (for example "650 Free Supercharging Miles") must match the data. We read up to three recent captures per store and flag any store where they disagree.
- Strip the personal parts. Each capture is some owner's personal referral page. We record the date and the store, never the owner's name or code, and our evidence link opens the Archive's index for the store rather than one stranger's link.
Program rules — the yearly cap, the "before you order" rule, used-car exclusions — come from the archived "Refer and Earn" support pages for each store, quoted with their "Effective" and "Updated" dates.
Why other sites disagree: four documented cases
1. "$2,000 off" in the United States and "$2,600 off" in Canada
A Drive Tesla Canada article of November 25, 2024 reported US buyers getting $2,000 off and Canadian buyers $2,600 off through a referral. It was accurate then and still ranks for discount searches. On October 4, 2026 Tesla's US referral page showed 3 months of FSD (Supervised) on Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck, and on October 5, 2026 the Canadian page showed the same — no cash on either.
2. Australia: "the program is ending" versus "A$350 off"
An April 19, 2024 report said Tesla was ending referral benefits in Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on April 30, 2024. Pages that repeat it tell Australians there is nothing to get. Tesla's Australian referral page on October 4, 2026 showed A$350 off on Model 3 and "listed, no buyer benefit shown" for Model Y. Both were true of their moment; only one is the current page.
3. The UK: "£1,000 off" versus miles
When Tesla relaunched referrals in Europe in September 2024, UK buyers were reported to get £1,000 off. Aggregators still print it. Tesla's UK referral page showed 650 miles of free Supercharging on Model 3 and Model Y on October 4, 2026; its January 7, 2026 capture still listed "£500 off" for Model S, a model that has since left the page.
4. "The 2026 offer has ended"
A US referral site we checked on October 7, 2026 told visitors its 2026 offer had ended and to come back in 2027. Tesla's US referral page was live on October 4, 2026. The likely explanation is Tesla's own cap: each owner can refer 10 orders per calendar year, and once they reach it "buyers who place their order using your referral link will not receive any buyer benefits" (Tesla's US terms, archived June 15, 2026). We see this in the archive too: capped owners' pages carry the headline "[name]'s Referral Limit Has Been Reached" and no benefit lines (New Zealand capture, June 17, 2026; the same page appears in Norwegian, Dutch, Czech, Polish, Arabic and Chinese captures). We skip those captures when filling the matrix.
What the matrix will not do
- Estimate. A cell we could not read says "not verified".
- Convert currencies or put a cash value on Supercharging or FSD. Supercharging prices vary by site and time; we print what Tesla printed.
- Print a referrer reward amount. Tesla's public pages do not state one; we print the cap and the rules instead.
How often we re-check
Every store monthly, and immediately when a reader or a new capture shows a change. A row whose newest capture is more than three months old carries an "older capture" chip. Every change gets a dated line in the changelog; corrections are never silent.
Limits we know about
The Archive captures pages when someone asks it to, so some stores are captured weekly and others rarely. A capture shows what Tesla served to that visitor on that day. Tesla's page opened from your own link is always the final word, and it is shown to you before you order.
