Tesla discount code for a new car? Here are the routes that are real
Short answer
Nobody can sell or give you a discount code for a Tesla car. Four things can still change what you pay or what you get with the car, and each has rules. Which one applies depends on whether you have owned a Tesla before and which store you buy from.
If you have never owned a Tesla: your store's link
US United States: 3 months of FSD (Supervised) on Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck.
We couldn't detect your country, so this shows the United States store. Every store is in the matrix.
We found no Tesla referral storefront for your country, so the link opens Tesla's US referral page. See countries without a referral program.
Tesla runs a referral page for your country, but this site's link routing does not include that store yet, so the link opens Tesla's US referral page. Check the store shown on Tesla's page before you configure.
A referral link: Tesla applies its benefit when you order through it, and the owner of this site may earn Tesla credits. Independent — not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. How this works
Which route is yours?
Text version
- Never owned a Tesla → open an owner's referral link before ordering; the benefit is set by your country's store. If your country has no referral storefront, the configurator price is the price.
- Already own one → you cannot use a friend's link; look for the loyalty benefit in the Tesla app.
- Promo or coupon codes do not exist for Tesla cars.
| Route | Who it is for | What it is | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Referral (buyer benefit) | First-time buyers only | The benefit Tesla sets for your store — FSD months, Supercharging or cash; see the matrix | Open the link before ordering; the referrer must be under their 10-a-year cap |
| Loyalty benefit | People who already own a qualifying Tesla product | A benefit offered in the Tesla app when you buy another qualifying product on the same account | Up to 10 times per account; you cannot use a friend's link |
| New inventory car | Anyone | A built car from Tesla's stock, sometimes priced differently from a custom order | Still qualifies for the referral benefit if bought through the link; pre-owned cars do not |
| Solar with a car-owner's link | US buyers of Tesla-installed solar | Tesla's US referral page showed US$400 off on solar panels and Powerwall (October 4, 2026) | Separate product, separate referral; energy products qualify only when installed by Tesla |
Government incentives are a different thing
Purchase grants, tax credits and registration-tax breaks are run by governments, not by Tesla, and they change on their own schedules. They are never unlocked by a code either. We do not print incentive amounts on this site, because a stale figure stamped on a global page does more harm than none; check your national or state agency before you count on one.
What does not lower the price
- Codes from coupon directories — they are for third-party accessories (why).
- A referral link opened after you ordered — Tesla's terms say it cannot be credited.
- Two referral links — one account can use a referral link once, and buyer benefits only apply to your first qualifying purchase.
- A link from an owner who has hit the yearly cap — Tesla's FAQ: buyers using it "will not receive any buyer benefits."
What happens after you order
If the link worked, the benefit for your store appears with your order in the Tesla account, and the referrer sees their own benefit as "pending" in the Tesla app until the grant date (Tesla's US terms, archived June 15, 2026). If you see no referral benefit on your order, contact Tesla before delivery — the link cannot be added later, but Tesla is the only party that can check what happened.
