Tesla referral in the UAE: 1,000 km of Supercharging in English and Arabic
Short answer
A first-time buyer who orders through a referral link in the UAE gets 1,000 km of free Supercharging on Model 3 or Model Y. The English (en_ae) and Arabic (ar_ae) pages show the same figure; the latest capture we use is from July 11, 2026. In January 2026 the page also offered AED 2,000 off Model S and Model X; neither model was on it by July.

The UAE row
| Country | Model 3 | Model Y | Cybertruck | Captured |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AE United Arab Emirates | 1,000 km of free Supercharging | 1,000 km of free Supercharging | Not on the page | July 11, 2026 |
The figure is read from Tesla's own referral page as copied by the Internet Archive. The Archive held 77 captures of UAE referral pages from 2026 across the two language versions. We read the newest ones in full plus the earliest of the year. The row above uses the Arabic page of July 11, 2026; the newest English page we read, from June 16, 2026, shows the same two lines.
In the UAE the benefit is distance, not money. Tesla's page data sets a Supercharging credit of 1,000 in kilometres on each of the two cars, and the visible card says so. Cybertruck does not appear on the UAE page at all; it is listed only in four North American countries (where Cybertruck appears).
English and Arabic: one country, one figure
Tesla serves the UAE in two languages, tesla.com/en_ae/ and tesla.com/ar_ae/. Expat buyers often ask whether the English version is somehow "international" and carries a different deal. On every pair of captures we compared, it does not: both pages carry the same products and the same 1,000 km. The difference is presentation. The Arabic page writes the January cash figure as "2,000 AED" with the currency after the number and right-to-left marks around it; the English page writes "AED 2,000". The values in the page data are identical.
Which language you use does not change the country, the benefit or the terms. What matters is that the page you open says it is Tesla's UAE site, and that you place the order on that page.
Model S and Model X: AED 2,000 in January, gone by July
| Model | January 8, 2026 | July 11, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | 1,000 km of free Supercharging | 1,000 km of free Supercharging |
| Model Y | 1,000 km of free Supercharging | 1,000 km of free Supercharging |
| Model S | AED 2,000 off | Not on the page |
| Model X | AED 2,000 off | Not on the page |
| Cybertruck | Not on the page | Not on the page |
On January 8, 2026 the UAE page offered cash off the two larger cars and Supercharging on the two smaller ones, a split we also saw in Europe at the start of the year. By July 11, 2026 Model S and Model X had left the referral page. We do not print an exact removal date, because no capture pins one down; the changelog records the change as "listed on the earliest capture, gone by the latest", the same way it does for every other country where the two models left the page.
Terms: effective October 16, 2024
Tesla's UAE Refer and Earn page, archived on May 8, 2026, carries the line "Effective October 16, 2024. Updated June 4, 2025." and the same core rules as the US and UK terms:
- Benefits are "non-transferable and not redeemable for cash", and the buyer must be at least 18.
- An owner can make up to 10 order referrals per calendar year. A link from an owner who has used them all gives the buyer nothing.
- "Referral links cannot be credited after the order is placed and cannot be used by the same Tesla Account more than once."
- Referrers are paid in Supercharging credits or Tesla Credits depending on the car, and the credits cannot be redeemed for cash.
One clause is worth reading twice if you are an expat: the program "is conditional on and subject to the local laws and regulations of the registration address of the referrer and buyer, respectively". The terms do not mention residency, visas or visitors beyond that line. In practice it points you at the address where the car will be registered.
A capture we left out
When an owner has used all their referrals for the year, Tesla's page changes. It says the owner's referral limit has been reached and shows no benefit. One Arabic UAE capture from mid-June 2026 was such a page. We excluded it from the figures, because it describes one owner's status, not the country's offer. If you open an owner's link and see that message, the link will not give you the 1,000 km. Ask for another link or check the country's row.
Ordering as a resident, a new arrival or a visitor
Tesla's UAE terms say nothing specific about residency. What they do say is that benefits follow the registration address, and that Supercharging credit is a benefit you use on Tesla's network. So the useful questions are practical ones for Tesla's UAE team before you order: can you register the car at your address, which documents they need, and whether the account you order on is the one the car will sit in. If you will move the car to another country soon, the 1,000 km applies to Superchargers, which Tesla runs country by country. Check coverage where you will drive (what each kind of benefit is).
What to check
- Open the referral link first, then confirm the page says it is Tesla's UAE site, in English or Arabic.
- Check that the Model 3 or Model Y card shows the 1,000 km line. If the page says the owner's limit is reached, that link gives you nothing.
- Configure and order on the same page and the same Tesla account. The link cannot be added afterwards.
- After ordering, check that the benefit appears with your order in the Tesla account before delivery.
- Do not expect money instead: Tesla's terms say the benefit is not redeemable for cash (why you can't swap it).
A note on this site's own link: when your browser places you in the UAE, the referral unit on this page opens Tesla's UAE site — the Arabic version (ar_ae) if your browser prefers Arabic, otherwise the English one (en_ae). Whichever owner's link you use, confirm the page is Tesla's UAE site before you configure. Tesla's UAE terms, archived May 8, 2026.
